About CipherMind

Secure Intelligence for Private Communication

“We see nothing. We store nothing.
You control everything.”

Four Pillars

The principles that guide every decision we make.

Zero Knowledge

We literally cannot read your messages. The server handles encrypted blobs — never plaintext. No message content, no contact graphs, no analytics. We see nothing.

Privacy by Design

Privacy isn't a feature we bolted on — it's the foundation. Every protocol, every data flow, every architectural decision starts with one question: does the server need to know this? The answer is almost always no.

Transparency

No proprietary encryption. No custom algorithms. Signal Protocol, AES-256, PBKDF2, WebRTC — open standards that have been scrutinized by the global security community. You don't have to trust us. Trust the math.

User Control

Your data lives on your device. You decide what's backed up, what disappears, what's hidden in the vault, and what gets wiped. There's no cloud sync we control. No remote kill switch. You own everything.

Built on Open Standards

No proprietary magic. Just proven cryptography.

Signal Protocol

X3DH key agreement + Double Ratchet for forward secrecy. The same protocol trusted by Signal, WhatsApp, and Google Messages.

WebRTC

Peer-to-peer voice calls. SDP and ICE candidates are encrypted with Signal Protocol before exchange. The server is just a signaling relay.

AES-256-GCM

Military-grade encryption for local storage, backups, and message payloads. Combined with PBKDF2 key derivation (100K iterations).

Open Standards

No proprietary cryptography. Every security-critical component uses battle-tested, publicly auditable algorithms and protocols.

What Is CipherMind?

CipherMind is a privacy-first encrypted messaging application designed for people who believe communication is a fundamental right — not a data source.

Every message is end-to-end encrypted using the Signal Protocol. Voice calls are peer-to-peer via WebRTC with encrypted signaling. Local data is stored in an AES-256 encrypted SQLCipher database. The server exists only as a temporary relay — it never sees plaintext, never stores contacts, and auto-deletes messages after delivery.

Beyond standard encryption, CipherMind adds six proprietary protection layers — the CipherMind Shield. Ghost Mode for disappearing messages. Screen Shield to block screenshots. Phantom Metadata to strip identifying data. Trust Verify for safety number confirmation. Vault Lock to hide sensitive conversations. And Panic Wipe for emergency data destruction.

Currently available for Android and Linux, with iOS and more platforms coming soon.
